A Silver Grade Wound Badge GTRexclude two-piece construction of nickel-silverA first war German Silver Grade Wound Badge (Verwundetenabzeichen); oval shaped silvered bronze; hollow cut out version; the obverse pebbled with a Stahlhelm in the centre superimposed on crossed swords within a wreath of laurel leaves with a tied bow at the bottom; the reverse plain with a vertical needle style pin, sheet metal hinge, and a round wire catch; measuring 39. 30 mm (w) x 44. 54 mm (h); weighing 8. 8 grams; in overall very fine condition.
